Your day to day
To support Vodafone’s key strategic growth areas in IoT, Group Enterprise Technology requires a highly capable and experienced DevOps Resources. This role will be responsible install, support and monitor the integration and test environments of the IoT IT project deliveries. You will work very closely with technical delivery leads, integration engineers, system integrators and software developers and ensure the IoT deliveries happen in time, on budget & effectively follows the agile best practices & principles.

- Development and deployment of Cloud Services using IaC for supporting IoT and analytics projects hosted on AWS
- Automate deployment of applications and micro-services hosted on virtual instances
- Work with the project team and perform updates to AWS services required to support new releases
- Support architecture teams in the design phase of new projects
- Support operational teams in incident and problem management
- Develop connectivity and integration solutions which can be reused across multiple projects
With these skills you are a great candidate:
- Knowledge of software engineering practices and DevOps tools to support the development of a microservices application
- Analyse and design infrastructures to enable an easier monitoring of services, performance, workflows, resource usage and error troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Databases: Oracle
- Knowledge of control & build systems: GIT;
- Knowledge of containerisation and container orchestration: docker, kubernetes
- Knowledge in provisioning, operations, and management of AWS environments
