Job Purpose
The Senior Project Management Administrator is responsible for supporting the Project Management (PM) team and Project Management Office (PMO) including Project Management database and repository support, process & procedure training, Project/Program reporting, creating tools that support & track PM Team SLA's & metrics. They will also be responsible to provide general reporting and presentations to support departmental initiatives.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accountable for the day-to-day operations and support of the Project Management (PM) database & other repositories, including software uptime management and troubleshooting. Support planned system enhancements.
- Act as Super User for the Project Management software tool supporting the team on issues resolutions and training requirements.
- Drive improvements by maintaining processes & process maps for project management led initiatives.
- Accountable for training Project Management users on the database functionality and other tools when requested.
- Coordinate and support the PM team on IT & PMO related projects including requirements gathering, monitoring, and evaluating the projects, tracking actions, risks, decisions, and update project budgets.
- Manage project data requests through support tools like Smart Client.
- Develop executive-facing dynamic dashboards for project status and exception reporting.
- Lead change by developing ad hoc reports using the PM database & other repository tools to look for trends, inconsistencies, and gaps.
- Track PM SLA and OKR metrics to share with the PM team and be able to action when required.
- Collaborate with team members to understand operational challenges & support with best in class, current, high-quality data, tools, templates.
- Coordinate Sun Life project audit requirements for the Project Management database to ensure that the system supports Sun Life audit processes.
- Manage the departmental budget.
Qualifications and Skills:
